Our Story

35 years on the floor.
Now it's yours.

After working 14-hour days for three and a half decades, the hardest problem wasn't fixing machines — it was being in only one place at a time. 1,200 customers, one expert. The only answer was to put everything I know somewhere everyone can reach it.

"Knowledge is for everyone to have. Knowledge is not the cost — putting the knowledge down is the cost."

We've worked on every kind of machine: auto makers, jet engine makes, 16-axis systems, robots hanging upside down, medical equipment, Steinway piano programming. If it has a CNC control, we've seen it fail, and we've brought it back.

This knowledgebase is the sixth attempt — built on 35 years of iteration starting with a dBase II database on an Apple with two floppy drives and no hard disk. The pipeline has changed. The goal hasn't.

The problem, simply stated

When a machine goes down, every hour costs thousands. The expert is already at three other shops. By the time they arrive, someone's tried something wrong — and now it's a four-times-harder fix.

The only answer: put the expert's knowledge into a format that travels. That's what this is.

Philosophy

Why we share what we know

Growing up in a village, if your rice crop had a disease and you kept it secret, everyone went hungry. The same is true on the factory floor. The knowledge CRUNCH in manufacturing is real — the experts are retiring and they don't have time to teach the next generation.

The goal of DR Machines is to create the ecosystem where that knowledge is captured, structured, and shared — safely and carefully. Knowledgebase is not a one-day product. Every path to a solution is being drawn and refined, again and again.
